Routine maintenance on the Interstate 430 bridge over the Arkansas River between Little Rock and North Little Rock will require an additional two weeks of overnight lane closings beginning Monday, the Arkansas Department of Transportation said.
The southbound center and inside lanes will be closed from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. daily through Aug. 23, weather permitting. Traffic will be controlled with signs and traffic cones.
The work began on July 23 and was expected to last three weeks, but weather delays extended the work another two weeks, the department said.
