Singer-songwriter Ray LaMontagne will perform at 8 p.m. Saturday at Robinson Center Performance Hall in Little Rock. Tickets are $35 to $85.

LaMontagne, who is on what he terms his Just Passing Through acoustic tour, will be accompanied by John Stirratt, who plays bass in the band Wilco. The 45-year-old LaMontagne, who was born in New Hampshire, was working in a shoe factory in Maine when his clock radio awoke him in 1999 to the sounds of Stephen Stills' "Treetop Flyer" song, which inspired him to pilot his life toward a pursuit of music.

In May, LaMontagne released his seventh studio album, Part of the Light, which NPR described as containing "... ambitious acoustic '70s-style sounds." The album's first single, "Such a Simple Thing," was featured on the season finale of the ABC series Grey's Anatomy.
