Maintenance on the deck of the Interstate 55 bridge over the Mississippi River between West Memphis and Memphis will require alternating lane closings for three weeks beginning Monday, the Arkansas Department of Transportation said.
The alternating lane closures on southbound I-55 will be in place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily Monday through Thursday, weather permitting.
The work is anticipated to take three weeks to complete, the department said. Traffic will be controlled with signs and traffic barrels.
