Boys

Greenbrier 69, Clarksville 47

Greenbrier outscored Clarksville 37-16 in the second and third quarters combined and cruised to the win.

Trace Thomas scored a team-high 21 points and grabbed eight rebounds for the Panthers, which led 17-16 after one quarter. Garrett Waddill added 13 points.

Omaha 88, Mount Judea 36

Omaha raced to a 49-24 halftime lead and defeated Mount Judea in opening-round action of the Bev Stone Border Classic in Omaha.

Connor Hampton and Trey Stone each had 17 points for the Eagles, who had all 10 players in uniform score. Austin Isbell added 15 for Omaha, which plays Kingston in semifinal action Thursday night.

Flippin 58, Hackett 48

Devyn Payne had 17 points to lead Flippin past Hackett in another first-round game at the Bev Stone Border Classic.

Jackson Baker added 16 for Flippin, which built a 38-25 halftime lead. Dylan Kats led Hackett with eight points.

Eureka Springs 59, Fort Smith Union Christian 25

The Highlanders opened play in the Decatur Tournament with a blowout win against Fort Smith Union Christian on Tuesday.

Garrett Cross led the way for Eureka Springs (10-3) with 25 points and Griffin Taylor added 17.

The Highlanders will advance to take on St. Paul in the second round of the tournament on Thursday.

Huntsville 48, Farmington 33

The Eagles rolled to a big win against Farmington as Kent Mayes recorded a double-double with 14 points and 12 rebounds.

Sean McCone added 14 points and 8 rebounds for Huntsville.

Berryville 51, Monett, Mo. 49

Zach Webb scored 21 points to lead the Bobcats to an opening round win of the Blue Eye, Mo., Tournament.

Scotland Lucas added 11 for Berryville (3-0).

Valley Springs 77, Bergman 53

The Tigers made it 14 straight wins to open the season in a lopsided win.

Teagan James led the way for Valley Springs (14-0, 2-0) with 22 points and Dalton Audeoud added 19.

Girls

Springdale Har-Ber 49, Carthage, Mo. 33

The Lady Wildcats had no problem handing the hosts an opening loss in the Carthage, Mo. Tournament on Tuesday.

Caylan Koons led the way for Har-Ber with 17 points, and Kania Starks added 12.

Van Buren 59, Mount St. Mary 40

Rylee Ryan scored 17 points and freshman Brooklyn Kannady added 16 to help the Lady Pointers pull away in the second half for the win.

Van Buren (3-0) led 24-16 at halftime but dominated the second half to earn the big win. Olivia Schnakenberg chipped in 14 points and Lexi Miller contributed six steals.

Berryville 65, Hurley 30

The Lady Bobcats rolled to a 35-point win in the opener of the Blue Eye, Mo., Tournament on Monday.

Hannah Morrell scored a game-high 28 points for Berryville, including 22 in the first half. Kelcee Hopper added 11. Paige Simpson scored 12 for Hurley.

Clarksville 49, Greenbrier 21

Clarksville bolted to a 35-12 halftime lead and cruised to a nonconference victory at home over Greenbrier.

Emmaline Rieder and Alyssa Cummins each had 11 points to lead Clarksville (5-1), which led 40-15 after three quarters, while KK Phillips added 10.

Omaha 70, Mount Judea 6

Omaha held Mount Judea scoreless over the final three quarters and coasted to a first-round win on their home floor during the Bev Stone Border Classic.

Kendall Atchison led the Lady Eagles with 18 points, while three players -- Kaiden Carlton, Cas Yocham and Madyson Smith -- each had 10 points.

Flippin 47, Hackett 39

Flippin stretched out a one-point lead by outscoring Hackett 17-10 in the fourth quarter and advanced in the Bev Stone Border Classic.

Still had 17 points and Marberry 14 for Flippin, which had its 22-13 halftime cushion cut down to 30-29 by the end of the third quarter. Kayla Richardson led Hackett with 15 points, followed by Taylor Class with 12.

Farmington 67, Huntsville 32

The Lady Cardinals got a big road win Tuesday night.

Makenna Vanzandt led Farmington (2-0) with 17 points and Madisyn Pense added 13.
