The Saints' only loss of the season came in a week one defeat to Class 6A Texarkana.

"We're playing really well," Shiloh Christian coach Jeff Conaway said. "We're beating some really good teams and making it look easy. That tells you that week in and week out they are focused and preparing well."

Especially on offense. Entering the matchup averaging nearly 41 points per contest, Shiloh Christian's offense lived up its reputation. After a 23-yard field goal by Patrick Williams put the Saints up 3-0, they responded with touchdowns on their next three possessions, as they put points on the board on four of their first five possessions. The Saints' (7-1, 5-0 4A-1) offense had nine plays of 15 yards or longer.

"Our quarterback (Eli Reece) found his receivers tonight," Conaway said. "One of our goals was to create some (explosive plays) through the air."

Receiver Blake Thomson helped them do just that. The senior scored Shiloh Christian's first touchdown of the night when he caught a Reece pass across the middle and raced 64 yards for a score. Thomson had two receptions for 86 yards on the drive.

"It was awesome," Reece said of the play. "That really kicked it off with an explosive play. Blake is awesome. He's super-fast and we had some good blocks by the receivers down the field."

Reece completed passes to seven different receivers while completing 19 of 26 passes for 290 yards and two touchdowns.

"My receivers are great, they are always open," Reece said. "We came into the game with a plan that if (Lincoln) was in cover 3 we were going to attack the seams, if they were in cover 2 or 4, we were going to attack the flats."

Backup quarterback Jaiden Henry had a hand in three scores as well. The sophomore caught a seven-yard pass from Reece for the Saints' second touchdown and ran for a 3-yard score with 9 minutes, 43 seconds remaining in the second quarter. Then, he turned one of the Saints' few mistakes into a touchdown. His pass was intercepted in the end zone but ripped away by a Saints teammate for another score.

Jaret Russ made the score 38-0 with a one-yard run with 3:38 left in the third quarter.

Lincoln (6-2, 3-2) added two scores in the fourth quarter. Quarterback Tyler Brewer connected with Marcus Sturgill for a 17-yard touchdown pass with 8:08 remaining, and added another score on a Christian Sellers 2-yard touchdown run with 95 seconds remaining.
