WEST MEMPHIS 35, BLYTHEVILLE 15
BLYTHEVILLE -- West Memphis intercepted Blytheville quarterback Jackson Howard four times and Blue Devils (2-0) quarterback Owens McConnell threw for 258 yards and two touchdowns in the team's victory over the Chickasaws.
West Memphis junior linebacker Kendarious Moore picked off two Howard passes while the other two came from Kordell Fenner and Tyquerious Barbee.
McConnell completed 14 of 22 passes, including a 21-yard touchdown to senior Mason Kearney and a 43-yard strike to Devin Olloway.

The Blue Devils took a 21-0 lead into halftime on Tyquerious Thomas' 6-yard touchdown with 56 seconds left in the second quarter.
West Memphis got touchdowns from Kelvin Love and Latavian Thomas in the second half to take a commanding 35-0 lead.
Blytheville (1-1) scored in the fourth quarter on a touchdown pass from Ryan Dinkins to Jermal Woods, who added another score minutes later.
