A Little Rock woman's home and vehicle were damaged in a shooting early Friday, and she believes the gunfire is in retaliation for her son's involvement in a killing, according to a police report.

Officers were called to the residence in the 9100 block of West 35th Street shortly after 2:30 a.m.

The 36-year-old told authorities that she was lying in bed when a bullet was shot through her window, adding that she found several bullet holes throughout the home and on her car.

Three other people were said to be inside the residence at the time of the gunfire, but no injuries were reported.

The woman said she believes the shots were fired by a man who wants revenge for her "oldest child murdering his mother," the report from the city's Police Department states. Officers noted that Little Rock resident said the family has received several death threats.

No suspects were named and no arrests had been made at the time of the report.
