Two people stabbed in south Fayetteville

FAYETTEVILLE -- Two people were stabbed near South Curtis Avenue on Wednesday night, police said.

Police were called around 7:50 p.m. and found the suspect and injured people, police spokesman Sgt. Anthony Murphy said.

The two victims were taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries, Murphy said.

Police wouldn't give the names or any other information about the people involved.

The incident is under investigation. Murphy said there's no threat to the public, and the incident was isolated.
