Into the Blue: Resonate, the annual gala supporting the Thea Foundation, was April 6 at the Woman's City Club, also known as the Junior League of Arkansas.
This year, Into the Blue features two events. The second party is May 18 at the Center for the Humanities and Arts at University of Arkansas -- Pulaski Technical College. Trish Roberson is chairman of both events.
The Charles A. Frueauff Foundation was presented with Thea's Pillar of the Arts award for its work supporting the arts in Arkansas.
The Thea Foundation was formed by Paul and Linda Leopoulos in honor of their daughter, Thea Leopoulos, who died in a car wreck on Memorial Day in 2001 when she was 17. The Thea Foundation advocates for arts and provides arts-related opportunities and scholarships for Arkansas students.
