4 Arkansans arrested on murder charges in man's death; body was left in dumpster, authorities say

Four people were arrested in Lonoke County on capital murder charges in connection to a body that was dumped in Independence County, authorities said Thursday.

Christy Dennis, 41, Robert Garner, 64, Robert Clark, 44, and Timmy Hubmann, 41, all face capital murder charges, in addition to charges of abuse of a corpse and tampering with physical evidence.

Authorities identified the deceased as James Bushart, 49.

Bushart was killed at a residence in the 3800 block of Mt. Tabor Road south of Cabot, according to a news release from the Lonoke County sheriff’s office. His body was taken to Independence County, where it was put in a dumpster, authorities said.

Lonoke County sheriff’s office Capt. David Bufford said the four taken into custody were arrested at a residence outside of Cabot off Arkansas 89. He said the four all listed the address as their home.

The three men and one woman were being held in the Lonoke County jail Thursday without bail, an inmate roster shows.
