A Little Rock man arrested Wednesday is accused of beating a man unconscious last month, stripping him of his clothes and stealing his belongings, a report said.

Little Rock officers arrested Henry Lee Gates, 45, Wednesday on a charge of robbery after a person demanded money from the victim on Dec. 22 and then hit and kicked the man until he was unconscious, the report said. Once the man woke up, the attacker reportedly assaulted him again, took his clothes and left.

Officers said the injured man was hospitalized for two days.

Gates was in the Pulaski County jail in lieu of a $100,000 bond as of Thursday evening.

Very interesting. Last month the only black police officer on the Farmington, Arkansas police force was arrested for spousal abuse.

Typical Little Rock. One of the scummiest cities in the nation. Actually made the top rankings the other day as the #3 most criminally violent and dangerous city in the United States, with only Memphis as #2 and St. Louis as #1 ahead of it.
