MUSIC SCENE: White Water Tavern show loaded with performers for Adam Faucett benefit

A benefit for Adam Faucett, featuring Isaac Alexander, Joshua Asante, Rachel Ammons, Iron Tongue, Mandy McBryde, William Blackart, Matthew Ritchie, Attagirl, Michael Hall and others, will be held at 6 p.m. Sunday at White Water Tavern in Little Rock. Admission will be by donation.

After the discovery of a cyst on his vocal cords, Faucett will undergo surgery and a period of recovery when he will be unable to sing or even speak.

Shelton is a member of the band War Chief, and Delvis is an Elvis Presley tribute act from Eureka Springs.

The Legendary Pacers perform at 8 p.m. today at Griffin Restaurant in El Dorado. Admission is $5.

The Read Southall Band performs at 8:30 p.m. Friday at Stickyz Rock 'n' Roll Chicken Shack. Tickets are $12 in advance, $15 the day of the show.

Runaway Planet, with opening act Rachel Ammons, performs at 8:30 p.m. Friday at King's Live in Conway. Admission is $5.

Deadbird, with opening act Street Sects, performs at 9 p.m. Friday at White Water Tavern in Little Rock. Admission is $7.

Ricky Skaggs, with opening act Interstate 30, performs at 7 p.m. Saturday at Magic Springs' Timberwood Amphitheater in Hot Springs. Admission is $29.99, plus tax, after 7 p.m. (Admission to the park for the entire day ranges from $49.99 plus tax to $39.99 plus tax for those 55 and older, $29.99 plus tax for military and first responders, $39.99 for children shorter than 4 feet and free for children age 3 and younger.)

Skaggs, who began performing at age 6 when he played mandolin and sang with Bill Monroe, made his recording debut in 1975 with That's It. He has since released 15 solo albums, 18 collaborations and seven compilations, as well as three live albums and two Christmas collections.

Pallbearer, with opening acts Terminal Nation and Hell Camino, performs at 8 p.m. Saturday at the Rev Room. Admission is $15.

Pallbearer, a nationally acclaimed metal band based in Little Rock, is celebrating its first decade and performs the band's debut album, Sorrow and Extinction, in its entirety.

Oh, Sleeper is a metal band formed in Fort Worth in 2006.

WEDNESDAY

The Jon Bush Quintet's tribute to John Coltrane will be held at 8 p.m. Wednesday at South on Main. Admission is $10.

Emily Wolfe performs at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at Stickyz in Little Rock. Tickets are $10 in advance, $12 the day of the show.

Wolfe, 29, is based in Austin, Texas, after moving there at the age of 8. She has opened shows for The Toadies, Heart and The Pretenders. The Wall Street Journal called her "... a sparkling rocker with a propulsive groove and atmospheric guitars."
