Two people were sent to the hospital after being shot in a drive-by shooting at a Little Rock nightclub early Friday, authorities said.
Dispatch logs show officers were dispatched shortly before 2:45 a.m. to a reported shooting at Club 428, 4726 Asher Ave.
Officers with the Little Rock Police Department said they responded to the nightclub for two different ShotSpotter activations. The owner of the club told police that several people had committed a drive-by shooting on his nightclub while driving up Madison Street.
A 35-year-old man was shot through the left ankle, according to a police report. A 19-year-old man was shot in the thigh and left lower leg, the report states. Three vehicles and a business nearby were also hit by gunfire, but no one was inside any of them.
A witness told police he saw an unknown dark car driving up Madison Street with a person hanging out the window shooting.
Officers said they weren’t able to find any shell casings, even though ShotSpotter and several witness accounts reported nearly 30 rounds were fired in the incident.
No suspects were named as of Friday afternoon.
