BENTON COUNTY

All Saints Episcopal Church in Bentonville, 2904 NW Third St., will have a bilingual (English/Spanish) service this Sunday at noon to celebrate the Feast of Pentecost. A potluck will follow.

All Saints has also begun a Wednesday service from 6 to 8 p.m. during the summer: Open Table. This casual service is a Eucharistic feast along the lines of the ancient church. Everyone is welcome to come, bringing a dish to share if you can.

Bella Vista Community Church, 75 E. Lancashire Blvd., hosts Cookie Sunday on June 16. Enjoy a cup of coffee, a selection of homemade cookies and fellowship before the services at 9:30 and 11 a.m.

Summer Arts Camp is scheduled for Monday-Friday, June 17-21, from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. for children entering grades one through six. More information is available at the information center on Sunday mornings or online at bvcc.net. This year features classes such as clay, weaving and dance including tap and ballet. Classes fill up quickly, so register today. Registration ends June 10.

Bella Vista Christian Women’s Connection will meet at 9 a.m. June 11 at the Bella Vista Community Church, 75 E. Lancashire Blvd.

The featured speaker is Amy Koogler, an interior designer. The guest speaker is Gayla Hicks. Her presentation is titled “The Path to Perfect.” This brunch is held on the second Tuesday of every month, and an all-American breakfast is served for $10. The program is sponsored by Stonecroft Ministries.

The Prayer Connection meets at 9 a.m. on June 4 at St. Theodore’s Episcopal Church, 1001 Kingsland Road in Bella Vista.

Bella Vista Lutheran Church, 1990 Forest Hills Blvd., conducts its annual Village Bible School for four successive evenings beginning on June 10 for youngsters on summer break. The sessions run from 5:30 to 8 p.m. and conclude on June 13.

Randy Allison will direct the first concert of the year featuring the church’s choir and orchestra at 6 p.m. June 30.

The popular Shepherd’s Food Pantry is available each Friday from 10 a.m. to noon.

First Presbyterian Church in Bentonville, 901 N.E. J St., hosts Vacation Bible School: To Mars and Beyond from 5:30 to 8 p.m. June 9-13 for children entering fourth through sixth grades. Each evening will begin with a supper at 5:30 p.m. for the entire family; families are asked to stay with their children for the meal. Adults and youngsters in grades seven to 12 are invited to volunteer. There is also registration available for a simultaneous adult education track. Register at fpcbentonville.org/vbs.

Forest Hills Church in Bella Vista, an American Baptist congregation, 1702 Bella Vista Blvd., hosts a Bible study and prayer time at 12:30 p.m. June 12, followed by the Inspirational Book Club at 1:45 p.m. in the church library. All are welcome.

Good Shepherd Evangelical Lutheran Church in Rogers, 2305 S. Dixieland Road, hosts the Ladies’ Second Saturday Brunch and Bible Study from 10 a.m. to noon today, and a voters’ meeting follows worship service June 16.
