Michelle Xu has been named valedictorian and Sarah Shirley has been named salutatorian at Little Rock Central High School.
Xu, whose parents are Joshua Xu and Jie Li, plans to study economics at the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. Xu intends to minor in computer science.
Shirley plans to attend Harvard University in Cambridge, Mass. She is undecided on her field of study. Her parents are Jack Shirley and Saowalak Sakulpipatsil.
Xu and Shirley are from Little Rock. Central High is part of the Little Rock School District.
