Elite bakers Buddy Valastro (Cake Boss) and Duff Goldman (Ace of Cakes) will take their rivalry to another level as they face off in a baking battle for the chance to be crowned the undisputed king of cake on the Food Network series Buddy vs. Duff. It premieres at 8 p.m. today.
The six-week competition will challenge aspects of what it takes to be a true pastry artist and cake master. From techniques to design skills and taste, each episode will measure their talent in two rounds -- a Bake-Off to test their abilities and a Cake-Off to showcase their creative imagination.
Judges this year include Sherry Yard, Florian Bellanger, Street Science's Kevin Delaney, Hanna Hart, Waylynn Lucas, Penn & Teller, Fast N' Loud's Richard Rawlings, Keegan Gerhard and Aarti Sequeira (Food Network Star).
Family Food Showdown has already premiered. It airs at 7 p.m. Sundays on Food Network and is hosted by Valerie Bertinelli.
On the show two families are pitted against one another in three rounds of challenges designed to test their cooking skills, recipes and family dynamics. The teams must impress a rotating panel of judges, including Clinton Kelly (What Not to Wear), Antonia Lofaso, Daphne Oz, Jamika Pessoa, Tori Spelling, Jet Tila, Molly Yeh, and Bryan and Michael Voltaggio (Top Chef).
On March 17, a new season of Spring Baking Championship premieres at 8 p.m. on Food Network. It's hosted by Clinton Kelly. Ten talented bakers will compete to create extraordinary baked treats to impress returning judges Nancy Fuller, Duff Goldman and Lorraine Pascale to earn the title of Spring Baking Champion and the $25,000 grand prize.
The bakers will be tasked to celebrate spring throughout the competition by making things like animal-theme doughnuts, watercolor cakes featuring spring fruits and vegetables, marshmallow desserts to honor Easter and blue ribbon-worthy rhubarb pies.
