His parents are Julia and Anthony Mariani of Little Rock and Amy and Acy Crawford of Los Angeles and his grandparents are Joyce Holt of Little Rock, Roland Holt of Columbus, Ga., and the late Bess and Jerry Crawford. He is a graduate of Hendrix College with a bachelor's degree in history and is employed with an insurance brokerage firm.
