Andrea Tucker Womble - Steven Michael Pagluica

Andrea Tucker Womble and Steven Michael Pagluica exchanged marriage vows at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, May 11, at the home of the bride's parents. The Rev. Greg Schick of St. James United Methodist Church officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Patti and Jim Womble of Little Rock. Her grandparents are Betty and the late Robert E. Tucker of Hartford, Kan., the late Jane and Charles Womble of Warren and the late June and Curtis McClellan of Hattieville.

Parents of the groom are John and the late Judith Pagluica of Hilton Head, S.C. His grandparents are the late John and Edith Pagluica and the late Emil and Mary Bittman.

An iron arbor decorated with elaeagnus and white roses marked the entrance to the ceremony site, where vows were exchanged in front of a salvaged elevator shaft from San Francisco decorated with white peonies, hydrangeas, hellebores and ranunculus. Music was by Dr. Linda Hsu String Quartet.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of Italian silk and French lace with a deep V-neckline and back. A detachable over-skirt and train were embellished with hand-sewn lace. She carried a round garden-style bouquet of white roses, peonies, hellebores, ranunculus and lisianthus.

Lauren Crowley Corrinet of Greenwich, Conn., was matron of honor. Kathryn Ann Sain of Little Rock was a bridesmaid. They wore blue gowns in the style of their choice and carried smaller bouquets similar to the bride's.

Flower girl and ring bearer were Caroline Ava Corrinet and Christopher Charles Corrinet, godson of the bride, both of Greenwich.

Best man was Thomas Joseph "TJ" Pagluica of Hawthorne, N.J., brother of the groom. Guests were seated by Todd Loesch of Madison, N.J.; Steve O'Keefe of Trumbell, Conn.; Patrick Carr of Richmond, Va.; and Ted Womble of Little Rock, brother of the bride.

Immediately after the ceremony, there was a cocktail hour around the home's pool followed by dinner and dancing at Chenal Country Club. Fourteen-foot-tall trees created a canopy in the ballroom and guest tables held urns of blue hydrangeas, pink French tulips, white garden roses, and green viburnum. Music was by the Emerald Empire Band.

The bride graduated magna cum laude from Columbia University with bachelor's degrees in mathematics and economics. She is chief of staff at Promontory Financial Group in Washington.

The groom has a bachelor's degree in business administration from Rider University and is a senior customer development manager at Johnson and Johnson Consumer Inc.

The couple will make their home in Rogers after a honeymoon in The Maldives and Hong Kong.
