The 24th annual Arkansas Hot Air Balloon State Championship, Friday-Sunday, centers on the Boone County Regional Airport, 2524 Airport Road, Harrison. The festival lifts off at 4 p.m. Friday followed at 7 p.m. by a free concert and the tethered balloon glow. Saturday's lineup includes balloon races (continuing on Sunday morning) and tethered rides.
