Rachel Elizabeth Hildebrand became the bride of Matthew Thomas Kane at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 1, at the County Club of Little Rock. The Rev. Jay Clark of Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church was the officiant.

The bride is the daughter of Amy and Mark Westmoreland and Jeff and Deanna Hildebrand, all of Little Rock. Her grandparents are Linda and Raymond Hildebrand of Stuttgart and the late Rosemary and Billy Massey of Warren.

Parents of the groom are Lisa and Steve Greenhaw and Tom and Rebecca Kane, all of Little Rock. He is the grandson of the late Josephine and Max Kane and the late Helen and Rocky Yelenich, all also of Little Rock.

The fireplace and mantel in the club's ballroom served as the ceremony backdrop. The mantelpiece and mirror were draped in southern smilax, roses, antique hydrangeas, apricot Dutch stock, burgundy scabiosa and snapdragons. The aisle was lined with matching floral arrangements. Music was by harpist Frances Cobb.

The bride, escorted by her father, wore an ivory A-line gown of English net embellished with lace appliques. Her cathedral-length veil was edged with Chantilly lace. She carried a European clutch bouquet of burgundy snapdragons, blue delphinium, roses and pink phalaenopsis orchids.

Laura Hildebrand of Lafayette, Ind., served as her sister's maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Jordan James of Little Rock, also a sister of the bride, and Claire Kane of Boston, sister of the groom. They wore English rose-colored gowns draped V-necklines and carried bouquets similar to the bride's. Flower girl was Aubrey Herndon of Baton Rouge.

Best man was Max Kane of Fayetteville, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were James Greenhaw of Leesburg, Va., and John Mark Guerin of Conway. Guests were seated by Tripp James of Little Rock and Jake James of Fayetteville, brothers of the bride.

Before a reception, held in the club's Garden Room, the bride and groom, wedding party and family stepped outside to be greeted by a parade of vehicles, waving and cheering as they passed the newlyweds. At the reception, tables held a mix of berry-colored floral arrangements accented with votive candles. Columns of the room were decorated with ribbons and southern smilax. Music was by the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra String Quartet.
