Lincoln Rhyme: Hunt for the Bone Collector. NBC series is based on Jeffery Deaver book

The Bone Collector is the first book in a series by Jeffery Deaver about Lincoln Rhyme ( Russell Hornsby), a New York City police detective who was paralyzed because of a trap set by a serial killer named "The Bone Collector." Afterward, the killer, who once terrified New York, seemingly disappeared. Three years later an elaborate murder points to the killer's return, which brings forensic genius Rhyme out of retirement.

This time around Rhyme is teaming up with Amelia Sachs (Arielle Kebbel), an intuitive young officer who has a gift for profiling. The unlikely detective duo will play a game of cat and mouse with the serial killer who brought them together in Lincoln Rhyme: Hunt for the Bone Collector. It debuts at 7 p.m. Friday on NBC.

The cast also includes Brian F. O'Byrne, Tate Ellington, Courtney Grosbeck, Ramses Jiminez, Brooke Lyons, Roslyn Ruff and Michael Imperioli.
