Teen is sought in Blytheville slaying

Blytheville police were searching Saturday night for a teenager in connection with a slaying Friday, according to a police report.

On Friday, officers were sent to the Great River Medical Center in response to a report of two people being shot.

One of them was 19-year-old Thadarius Daniels, who later died, the report said.

The report said the case appears to be drug-related.

Officers reported obtaining an arrest warrant for Carlos Wells Jr., 17, on a first-degree murder count.

Officers were unable to find him at his residence, the report said.
