Sherwood burglary leads to 2 arrests

Sherwood police on Sunday arrested two men in connection with the burglary of a residence at Kiehl Avenue and Thomas Street, according to arrest reports.

Marlon Christopher Raglin, 30, of Sherwood was arrested on two felony charges of residential burglary and theft of property after police responded to a caller alerting them to an active burglary involving a box-type U-Haul. The caller said three television sets were stolen along with other items, according to an arrest report.

Raglin told police he took the televisions because they belonged to him, the report said, but the caller told police the items were stolen from other bedrooms that belonged to other individuals who live there.

Jeremaih Solathian Nuniss of Little Rock, who turned 26 on Monday, also was arrested. He faces charges of possession of a Schedule VI controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, tampering with evidence and possession of a prohibited article at a correctional facility. According to an arrest report, Nuniss told police he did not exit the U-Haul.

Police reported smelling marijuana during the interaction with Nuniss, who told police he had some marijuana on him and reportedly dumped a small bag of a green leafy substance, according to the report. Marijuana also was found in Nuniss' possession during a search at the Pulaski County jail.

Raglin remained in the Pulaski County jail on Monday evening with bail set at $5,000. Nuniss did not appear on a jail roster.
