Bella Vista Community Church, 75 E. Lancashire Blvd., invites members to join in a day of prayer in step with "The Return," a national and global day of prayer. From 11 a.m. to noon today, McKay Hall will be open, and you're invited to join us in praying for restoration and unity in the United States and the world.

Join us for worship Sundays at 9 a.m. (traditional) and at 11 a.m. (contemporary). We are following social distancing guidelines for a safe and healthy worship experience.

BVCC continues to suspend non-ministry events and Kids Connect until further notice. The annual Christmas English Tea is canceled this year due to covid-19 concerns.

Bella Vista Lutheran Church, 1990 Forest Hills Blvd., hosts Sunday worship services at 8:30 a.m. (traditional service) and at 10:45 a.m. (blended service). Sunday School for all ages and adult Bible classes are at 9:45 a.m. You can also see the worship service at www.bvlutheran.com.

The Lutheran Hour is broadcast every Sunday at 12:30 p.m. on radio station KURM-AM (790) and KURM-FM (100.3).

GriefShare is being offered on Thursdays at 3 p.m. in the chapel and will continue weekly until Nov. 12. Call Dorothy Jones at 366-1700 with any questions.

The Shepherd's Food Pantry is open on Fridays from 10 a.m. until noon. All food handlers wear face masks and ask that visitors also wear a mask and practice social distancing.

The Sonday Riders will meet at 2 p.m. Sunday in the front parking lot at the church. All tw0-, three- and four-wheel drivers are welcome to join.

First Presbyterian Church in Bentonville, 901 N.E. J St., is worshiping online Sundays at 10:15 a.m. on Facebook and YouTube.

The FPC Food Pantry is operating as a drive-through on Saturdays from 9 to 11 a.m. Please bring something (utility bill, etc.) that shows that you are a resident of Benton County, and the church is glad to serve you.

Highland Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Bella Vista, 1500 Forest Hills Blvd., will continue to present its services on its website or on YouTube (search "highlandchristianchurchbellavista"). No decision to reopen the church has been made.

The Presbyterian Church of Bella Vista, 1880 Forest Hills Blvd., has returned to in-person worship at 10 a.m. on Sundays. Safety guidelines are available on the home page of our website (www.pcbv.org). Please let us know you're coming to worship by calling the church office.

In-person Sunday school classes and other church activities will resume at a later date. No childcare is provided at this time.

St. Bernard Catholic Church in Bella Vista, 1 St. Bernard Lane, will have Chaplet of the Divine Mercy at 3 p.m. Oct. 2 in the Adoration Chapel.

Our Catholic weekend Mass is on Saturday at 5 p.m. and on Sunday at 9 a.m.

Good Shepherd Evangelical Lutheran Church in Rogers, 2305 S. Dixieland Road, worships each Sunday at 10 a.m., following the city of Rogers' covid-19 precautions.

The service is available live on the church Facebook page, facebook.com/goodshepherdrogers. The weekly bulletin is available at www.goodshepherdrogers.org. Members who want to take communion but are not comfortable attending services during the pandemic may contact Pastor Moll to make other arrangements.

Bible study at 8:30 a.m. precedes worship and is online at Google Meet. Wednesday night Bible study is at 7 p.m. at the church and on Google Meet.

Unitarian Universalists of Benton County, 1400 W. Walnut, No. 113, Rogers, have canceled in-person services until further notice. Those who wish may attend worship services of The Unitarian Universalist Church of Fayetteville (UUFF) via Zoom with a link found on uufayetteville.org. Twice a month UUBC Zoom services are also being planned.

Unity Church of the Ozarks, 2200 S.E. J St., Bentonville, hosts the annual outdoor service at 10:30 a.m. Sunday at the Lake Avalon pavilion. The service will be followed by a "bring your own everything" picnic. Bring your own chair, your own food, utensils, plate, cup, etc. Please plan on following strict guidelines with social distancing, face masks and no food sharing.

Unity Church has placed a Little Free Pantry by the front door of the church at 2200 S.E. J St. in Bentonville.

Village Bible Church in Bella Vista, 1591 Forest Hills Blvd., hosts a live worship service at 10:15 a.m. Sundays. Pastor Mark Voll will be preaching. Seating arrangements have been readjusted for social distancing.

The service is also livestreamed on Facebook; streamed to Vimeo.com/user 42482704; at www.villagebibleefc.org; and audio of the live service can be heard on 90.3 FM in the south church parking lot.

The Oasis Food Pantry is open each Wednesday from 10 a.m. to noon for drive-through pickup.

Washington County

First Presbyterian Church in Springdale, 100 S. Gutensohn Road, announces its 2020 fall discipleship opportunities for all ages.

Sunday morning worship services will continue to be both in-person and livestreamed at 10:30 a.m. Onlwww.fpcspringdale.orgine worship services are available on YouTube and through a link on the church's website.

Sunday morning in-person discipleship opportunities include "The Life of Jesus" led by Peggy Ward; "Theology for Today" with Pete Joenks; and study of "Fierce," a book by Jennifer Cowart, led by Karen Lisle with Women of Faith. All begin at 9:30 a.m. Jim Buck leads Present Word via Zoom at 9 a.m. Sundays.

FPC Kids B.L.A.S.T. is in person on Sundays at 9:30 a.m. The B.L.A.S.T curriculum and resources are also available on the church website.

Chime Time is a new youth musical learning opportunity lead by FPC music director Scarlett Morris. Children grades one through eight will learn to play chimes in a physically distanced setting, 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. on Sundays.

Weekday Zoom adult discipleship opportunities include Monday Lectionary led by Hank Breshears at 10:00 a.m. Ladies Fellowship meets each Wednesday at 7 a.m. A study of the book "Everybody Always" by author Bob Goff is led by the Rev. Kade Curry on Wednesdays at 7 p.m. And, Thursdays at 6:30 p.m., Scarlett Morris will lead a study group, Great Hymns of the Church. All Zoom information will be posted on the church website.
