A Jacksonville man was killed in one-vehicle crash in Jacksonville Saturday evening, according to an Arkansas State Police report.
Dwight Brown, 49, was driving northbound on South First Street in a 2008 Nissan Altima at approximately 5:07 p.m. when he failed to negotiate a curve onto Military Road, the report said. The car left the roadway and struck a gas main, becoming engulfed in flames, according to the report.
Conditions were rainy and wet at the time of the crash, the report said.
