Students receive gift donations

Educators and several members of the community donated gifts to students of James Matthews Elementary School in the Dollarway School District on Dec. 18, according to a news release.

James Matthews librarian Alexia Williams donated new books for all students at the school.

Art supplies for the holidays were courtesy of James Matthews art teacher Christi Baugh.

Kourtney Smith, pastor of Destiny Worship Center, presented the school with a toy for every student.

Bags of toys for specific families were donated by Dorcas House, under the leadership of Director Michelle Harper.

"The halls were filled with smiles and cheer," a spokesman said. "Everybody got a present this year.
