Miss Historic Batesville wins award at Miss Arkansas pageant

LITTLE ROCK — Miss Historic Batesville, Cori Keller of Stuttgart, the 23-year-old daughter of Lynn and Tracy Keller, was among the contestants finishing 11-15 in random order in the 83rd Miss Arkansas Scholarship Pageant,held recently at the Robinson Performance Hall in Little Rock. Miss University of Arkansas Whitney Williams of Conway won the state title.

Cori received a $1,500 scholarship sponsored by the Miss Arkansas Scholarship Foundation and the Miss America Organization.

She performed a tap dance to “Welcome to the Jungle” for her talent, and her social-impact statement is “Everyday Kids, Everyday Food.”

She is a 2020 graduate of Arkansas State University in Jonesboro and is a graduate student at ASU, where she is pursuing a Master of Science degree in mass communication, with an emphasis on radio/TV.
