A person of interest was in custody following a homicide on West Main Street in Jacksonville on Sunday, police said.
The investigation was taking place in the 600 block of West Main Street, according to a post the Jacksonville Police Department made on Twitter shortly before 9 p.m. Sunday.
Police didn’t immediately name the victim or the person who was taken into custody.
