Woman accused of making threats

A woman was arrested and taken to the Jefferson County jail on accusations that she threatened a Lighthouse Charter School administrator.

Pine Bluff police said that school administrator Ryan Geiggar reported telling Kisha Carruth, 44, he would get back with her regarding an inquiry about an application because he was unable to give her an update at the time. Geiggar said that Carruth then threatened to "pop a cap" in him and said "I will blow y'all mother.... brains out," a police report said.

A detective and another officer went to Carruth's home, detained her and transported her to the detective's office for questioning. Two children who were with Carruth at the time have been placed in the care of her 21-year-old daughter.

Carruth faces charges of terroristic threatening in the first degree, a Class D felony, according to Arkansas law.

She is awaiting an initial hearing.
