Whiting-Jennings
Carole Jennings and John Whiting exchanged marriage vows Saturday at the home of the bride's parents in DeWitt. Rev. Jay Clark officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Warren Jennings Jr. Her grandparents are Mrs. John Milliken of Heber Springs and the late John Milliken, and Mrs. Warren Jennings Sr. of DeWitt, and the late Warren Jennings Sr.
The parents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. Sammy Whiting of Gillett. His grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. John Holzhauer II of Gillett, Jerry Carter of Hazen and the late Mrs. Jerry Carter.
Attending the bride was Sara Jennings. Attending the groom was Austin Whiting.
A reception was held at the home of the bride's parents.
The bride is a student at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and a candidate of the class of 2021.
The groom is a graduate of the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville and is an associate at Merrill Lynch.
A honeymoon trip to Saint Lucia is planned.
