Little Rock police identify victim of homicide

A 30-year-old man was named Monday as the most recent homicide victim in the city by the Little Rock Police Department.

Wayeland Battles, 30, of Little Rock was killed early Saturday at the 6200 block of Colonel Glenn Road. An online dispatch log indicates officers responded to shots fired in the area at about 12:45 a.m.

Police haven't released any other information.
