Since I did two Brandywine groups back-to-back, I was gone 9 days on a great gardening adventure. I returned Tuesday night and hit the ground running. I had time to unpack and do laundry, and then I was on the move. I got to celebrate with friend Lee Lee on her 90th birthday,
have lunch with a friend, speak in Greene County on Friday. It was great to catch up with so many old friends.
I also spoke at Bee Days at
Bemis Tree Farm twice on Saturday. I had not been out to Bemis' since prior to Covid. It has grown in leaps and bounds.
They now sell plants i
n addition to trees, a whole host of gardening stuff,
of course bee-keeping supplies and gifts. They had an excellent crowd with a whole slew of activities
for gardeners, bee-keepers, and families. We went to a belated celebration of a covid wedding and today I attended a wedding shower
and tonight my on-line book club.
It was jam-packed for sure. I also had to water, water, water--it is still way too hot and dry. I got a sprinkling of rain Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning, but just enough to raise the humidity. On top of that, I got all the pictures from the trip edited, labeled and shared, and zoomed with Nick for upcoming travel plans. Our 2024 River Cruise--
the Color of Provence goes live Monday morning.
