Arkansas election commission chooses Madison as permanent director

The Arkansas State Board of Election Commissioners selected Chris Madison as its new director on Friday.

Madison has served as the board's interim director since his predecessor, Daniel Shults, resigned in November to take a position at the Arkansas Department of Education.
