Lucy Riddle Rhoades Crites

Lucy Riddle Rhoades Crites, 93, of North Little Rock, died Sunday, August 1, 2010, at the home of her daughter, Carol, in El Paso, Ark. She was born March 18, 1917, in Morganton, Ark. to the late James Walker Riddle and Maude Bittle Riddle and was preceded in death by her husband, John Crites; two brothers and two sisters. Survivors include two daughters, Lola (Ed) Olsmith, of San Antonio, Texas, Carol (Bill) Priester, of El Paso, Ark.; one son, James (Karen) Rhoades of North Little Rock, Ark.; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Tomie Riddle and wife, Irene of Atkins, Ark.; and a host nieces and nephews. Lucy also leaves many good and loving friends at the North Little Rock Hayes Senior Citizens Center where she was an active participant. Lucy was a caring, kind hearted person who loved the Lord, her church and her family. She was a member of Fuller Chapel Primitive Baptist Church of North Little Rock. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m., Wednesday, August 4, 2010, at Roller-Owens Funeral Home Chapel (501-791-7400) with Elders James Winston officiating. Interment will follow at Edgewood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, August 3, at the funeral home.
