George E. Ventura, 86, of Jacksonville passed away Saturday, August 7, 2010. He was born November 4, 1923 in Dallas, Texas to the late, Frank G. and Angela Ventura. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran in World War II and worked for Sears for 40 years, where he retired in Dallas. He was preceded in death by his wife, Aslee Linda Ventura. He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Wednesday at First Assembly of God in North Little Rock. Burial will be in Calvary Hill Cemetery in Dallas Texas.
