Jestina Gross, 97, of Beebe, Arkansas, was born February 11, 1913, to Luther and Ola (Crowell) Williams, and she went to be with the Lord Sunday, August 8, 2010. She was a precious, godly woman who lived a Christian example for us all. She is survived by one daughter, Joyce Almon and husband Odell of Beebe; two granddaughters, Mary Rodgers and husband Tony of Monticello and Gail Dellorto and husband Dan of Bryant; one grandson, Brent Almon and wife Carrie of Beebe; nine great-grandsons, Ladd, Jared, Alex, Caleb, and Job Rogers, Jim John and Daniel Dellorto, and Luke Almon; and numerous beloved nieces and nephews. Jestina was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William Carey Gross; two brothers, Homer and Jack Williams; and one sister, Edna Mae Bayer. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, August 11, 2010, at Westbrook Funeral Home, with Bro. Brent Summerhill of Faith Baptist Church in Cabot officiating. The burial will be in Hickory Plains Cemetery. www.westbrookfuneralhome.com.
