Jehu "Loy" Bean

Jehu "Loy" Bean, 85, of Avilla, passed away Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at Saline Memorial Hospital. Loy was born March 11, 1925 to Jehu and Luster Bean in Reform, Arkansas. He worked many years at the Milwhite Plant in Bryant and for Earl and Rob Simmons Sawmill. Loy worked many years cutting fire wood and selling it from his home. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Tressie Bean; sisters, Ann McGrath and Gladys Warner; brother, Jim Bean and twin brother Coy Bean. He is survived by his step-daughters, Katherine May (Ross) and Mary Hoffman (Jerry); brother, Aubrey Bean (Barbara) and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, August 20 at Ashby Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 21 at Ashby Funeral Home with burial at Walnut Bottoms Cemetery. Bro.
