Mary S. Cooper

Mary S. Cooper, 85, of North Little Rock, Ark. died on Monday August 23, 2010 peacefully at home. Mary was born October 18, 1924 in Nashville, Tenn., to the late Valentine Eugene and Lena (Bacigalupo) Shoulders. Mary attended Nashville public schools and St. Cecelia Academy. Mary was preceded in death by husband of 32 years Allan B. Cooper, one son, Landon Kester Bloomer III, one brother, Valentine E. Shoulders Jr., one sister. Anna L. Baker. Survivors include daughter, Mary Rebecca Wimberly and husband, Britt of North Little Rock, Ark., son, Allan Bradford Cooper Jr. and wife, Betty of Naples, Fla., six grandchildren, Sarah & Laura Wimberly, Shannon Filsinger, Adam Cooper and Todd and Lance Sells, 11 great-grandchildren all whom she loved dearly. Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at 2 p.m. at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Hot Springs Village, Ark. Service under the direction of CedarVale Funeral Home, Hot Springs Village, Ark. and guests may register at www.atkinsonfuneralhome.net.
