Sam Thomas Camp, 77 of Little Rock, Arkansas passed away Friday, August 20, 2010. He was a Marine Corp Korean War Veteran who received a Purple Heart for his bravery. He was born February 1, 1933 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Frank Camp Sr. and Gladys Jones Camp He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, John Camp and William Camp. He is survived by his wife, Winnie Sims Camp; three sons, Dennis Camp, Kim Camp (Lottie), Glenn Camp (Angela); three daughters, Carolyn Dixon (Reggie), Pamela Bush and Connie Murray (Larry); twenty four grandchildren and 40 great grandchildren; one brother, Frank Camp Jr (Pearl); three sisters, Lottie Gilmore, Ada Mason, and Lela Hill and a host of other relatives and friends. Family hour will be Thursday, August 26, 2010 at St. Mark Baptist Church from 7:00 P.M. to 8 p.m. Funeral Services will be Friday, August 27, 2010 beginning at 10 a.m. at St. Mark Baptist Church, 5722 W. 12th Street, Little Rock, Ark. with Bishop Steven Arnold, officiating.
