Stephen Lee Leonard

In celebration of the life of Stephen L. Leonard, 43 of Searcy. He was born January 28, 1967. He was a devoted husband, father, brother and son who loved the outdoors, fishing and hunting. He was a proud member of the Optimists Club, and loved motorcycles, a love he shared with several of his children. Stephen was a very motivated and strong man, his commitment to his community though coaching of several little league teams displayed his love of children & competition. He served proudly in the US Army and was a disabled veteran. Stephen's love he shared with his wife, Misty Leonard was truly rare and special. He cared dearly for her and of all their children. He is survived by his wife, Misty Leonard of the home; sons Stephen T. Leonard, Jacob Leonard, Nicholas M. Leonard, Clayton J. Elkins, Walker A. Elkins, Dakota B.L. Leonard and Johnathan Paul Leonard; brothers, Paul Stuart Jr., Jack Robinson and Anthony Stuart; sisters, Elizabeth Stoner, Misty Jared. He is preceded in death by his son, Alex Michael Leonard and a brother, Benjamin Howel Leonard. Stephen will be missed by his family and friends. Funeral services will be 3 p.m., Saturday at the Faith Assembly of God Church of Searcy. Visitation will be Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Powell Funeral Home of Searcy. www.powellfuneralhome.net.
