Thomas Alger Crisp, age 79, of Nashville, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday , August 25, 2010 at Howard Memorial Hospital in Nashville. He was born on October 13, 1930 in Dierks, Ark., the son of the late Thomas Cannon and Joysie (Hampton) Crisp. He was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather. He was a retired Senior Master Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force and member of the Bethany Baptist Church in Dierks, Ark. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one son, Russell Thomas Crisp; and three sisters, Christina Crisp, Gracie Crisp Rose, and Arverzine Rose. He is survived by his wife, Leota Nell Crisp of Nashville, Ark.; three daughters, Debra JaneWorthington and husband, Thomas, of Centerville, Ohio, Pamela Joyce Garner and husband, Timothy, of Richmond, Ky. and Rebecca Kaye Finigan and husband, Steven, of Nashville, Ark.; one brother, Curtis Crisp of Jacksonville, Ark.; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one nephew and numerous nieces and a host of friends. Services are scheduled for 2 p.m., Saturday, August 28, at Latimer Funeral Home Chapel, with Bros. Glen Green and Billy Dawson officiating, burial in Wynn Cemetery, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home, Nashville. Memorials may be made to The Gideons or Immanual Baptist Church.
