Amber Casey "Boo Boo" Graves, age 27, of Little Rock, died Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at home. Casey was born on May 19, 1983. A child of wonder and delight, a child of God, this girl loved everyone, and most of all, her family. Her main concern in life was her family, for as she said often, "Without family what is there really?" Her long illness, Gastroparesis, took a deep and never-ending toll on her body and of late, the battle was harder to fight. No one who met her forgot her smile or vibrant personality. There wasn't a greater Hog fan alive and she loved nothing more than a good tailgate party with family and friends on game day and rest assured that this year she will be calling those Hogs in Heaven like no other angel up there can or will! It will be hard to go on without the cheerleader of our family here on earth but we know that she is now the light of our life in heaven and will be there to guide us there one day. Casey had been employed by Applebee's, Inc. for eight years and served as a Corporate Trainer Elite. Survivors include her mother Paula and father Stan Graves of Little Rock, her beloved sister Ashley and her soon to be brother-in-law Corbitt Shoffner of Little Rock; many wonderful aunts and uncles; much loved cousins; a slew of friends especially her dearest love, Kory Sterling. As an expression of sympathy, the family suggests that memorials be made to the Hope House of Hospitality, 786 E. Northside Drive, Jackson, Miss. 39206. Pallbearers will be Gordon Steinecke, Nick Higgins, Gary Graves, Micah DiPippa, Alex Garlington and Brad Cauley. Honorary pallbearers will be Craig Mitchell, Stephen Mitchell and Ralph Graves.
