Lillie B. Walls Willliamson, 82, of Stuttgart, formerly of Little Rock, passed away from this life on August 28, 2010, following a brief illness. She was born September 6, 1928, in Cardwell, Missouri, to Beatrice Shrum Walls and Guy Lester Walls. She is survived by two sons, Gary Williamson of Malvern and Paul (Debbie) Williamson of Maumelle; one daughter, Mary (Keith) Glover of Stuttgart; three grandchildren, Mark (Brooke) Glover of Little Rock and Kristen Glover and Ashley Glover, both of Stuttgart. She is also survived by one brother, Carroll (Jane) Walls of Washington, Missouri; one sister, Joyce (Paul) Krettler of Roswell, Georgia; sisters-in-law, Sarah Miller, Gloria Martin and Rachel Williamson of Golden, Mississippi, Helen (L.N.) Kennedy, Mary (Leroy) Holder of Nashville, Tennessee, and Myra Jackson of Hobart, Indiana; and a host of nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carmon R. Williamson who passed away in 2005; brother, Robert Walls; and one granddaughter, Michelle Brooke Glover. She graduated from the Methodist Hospital School of Nursing in Memphis as a registered nurse. She enjoyed an active life of volunteering for the Little Rock Mental Health Center and was named volunteer of the year for the National Association for Mental Illness (NAMI). She was a member of First Baptist Church in Stuttgart and a former member of Pulaski Heights Baptist Church in Little Rock. Funeral services are 11 a.m., Wednesday at Turpin Funeral Home chapel with burial following in Lone Tree Cemetery. Visitation is 6-7 p.m., Tuesday at Turpin Funeral Home.
