Mary Etta Noland

Mary Etta Noland, 84, of North Little Rock, passed Sunday, August 29, 2010. She was born in North Little Rock to the late Thomas Henry and Lucy Thrasher Risher. Mary Etta was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ray Morris Noland; and her brother, Thomas Risher. She was a member of 1st United Methodist Church, Alpha Society and Triune Class. Mary Etta loved reading and animals; she will be missed by all that knew her. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by two sons, Mike Noland and wife, Dena of North Little Rock and Ray Noland and wife, Rhonda of Memphis; one daughter, Pattie Platt of North Little Rock; four grandchildren, Melissa Platt, Bailey Noland, Blake Noland and Caleb Noland; and two great-grandchildren; and host of other family and friends. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at the 1st United Methodist Church in North Little Rock with Reverend Davis Thompson officiating. Interment will follow at Edgewood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at Roller-Owens Funeral Home (501-791-7400).
