Prudence "Prudy" Jean Vorhees Durham

Mrs. Prudence "Prudy" Jean Vorhees Durham, 85, died August 27, 2010. Mrs. Durham was born on August 12, 1925, in Lincoln, Nebraska, a daughter of  Edson and Pearl Wiley Vorhees. She and her late husband, Floyd Grady Durham lived in Little Rock, Arkansas for many years. Mrs. Durham is survived by her mother-in-law, Ruth Durham; step-children, Tom Durham of  Florida and Teri Hill of Texas; step-grandchildren, Heather, Chelsea and Nicholas; sisters-in-law, Norma Newell and Jo-Lyn Caraway of Charlotte, Jean Norwood of Durham; brothers-in-law R.V. Durham of Winston-Salem, David Durham of Charlotte and John Durham of Atlanta. Funeral services will be held Monday August 30, 2010, at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Lincoln, Nebraska. Visitation for family and friends will follow the service.
