He is survived by a son, Richard Dean Brooks, Jr., and a daughter, Shanika Brooks, a host of step-children; three brothers, Sam (Geneva) Brooks, Jr., Patrick (Sherry) Brooks, Paul Brooks all of North Little Rock; three sisters, Betty (Kenney) Scott, Willie Mae Martin, Yolanda Frazier all of North Little Rock, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
