Robert D. Garrett, Sr., 82, of Mayflower, the son of Charles and Effie Mae Garrett, passed from this life Sunday, August 29, 2010. He is survived by two sons, David Garrett, wife, Judy, of Vilonia and Robert Garrett, Jr., wife, Judy of Mayflower; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Lillian Garrett; three brothers; and two sisters. The family would like to thank the nurses, doctors and staff of Arkansas Hospice and Salem Place Rehabilitation for the care given during his illness. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m., Wednesday in North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Rest Hills Memorial Park.
