Robert Lawrence Hindman

Robert Lawrence Hindman, age 88, of Sherwood, Ark., passed away on Monday, November 29, 2010. He was born on March 14, 1922 in Humphrey, Ark. to John Wesley and Jewell Gibson Hindman. Robert was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Melinda Stevens; brother, Gibson Hindman and sister, Mattie Bratton. He is survived by his loving wife Lillie O'Neil Hindman; son, Joseph and Bea Hindman; daughters, Karen Malmquist and Glen, Sharon Wheeler and Leon, Bunny Barron and Edwin, Peggy Cotton and Robert, Melodie May and Mike and Mickey Conrad and Stanely; 18 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren and one sister, Levenia Crigger. Robert was a member of Sylvan Hills Community Church, a Mason, a proud U.S. Army veteran of WWII and worked 60 years in home construction. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., on Thursday, December 2, 2010 at Sylvan Hills Community Church, Rev. Stanley Conrad officiating.Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2010 at Roller-Owens Funeral Home, 5509 JFK Blvd, North Little Rock, Ark. (501-791-7400).
