Armelia Jones

Armelia Jones, 100, of England, Arkansas went to be with the Lord Sunday, November 28, 2010. She was born Friday, September 23, 1910 in Keo, Arkansas to Henry Williams and Elnora Crittor Williams. Armelia was a homemaker and was a member of the Gumwood Baptist Church where she was the pianist. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Johnny Jones, one brother, one daughter, three grandchildren and one great-great grandson. Armelia is survived by two sons: Jimmy Jones (Evelyn) and Benny Jones all of England, Arkansas; four daughters: Brenda Brewer (Floyd) of Coy, Arkansas; Shinelle Pickens (Desmond) of Jacksonville, Arkansas; Cleatrice Richards of England, Arkansas and Mildred Orr of Chicago, Illinois; three grandchildren: Shirley Wicker and Erma Baker both of Jacksonville, Arkansas and Cle Brown of North Little Rock, Arkansas; 12 great-grandchildren, 27 great-great-grandchildren and 27 great-great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her cousins and extended family. Services for Armelia will be held Saturday, December 4th, 2010 at 11 a.m. at the East Macedonia Church in England with Bro. Herschel Lovelace officiating. Visitation will be Friday, December 3rd, 2010 at the Roller England Funeral Home Chapel (501) 842-3939. Burial will be in Nellum Cemetery in England.
