Bobby Franklin Taylor, Sr.

Bobby Franklin Taylor Sr., 71, of Cabot, Arkansas died Tuesday November 30, 2010. He was born July 15, 1939 to the late Frank and Isa Brannon Taylor. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Elvin Taylor and his step-son Paul Ray McAdams. Mr. Taylor graduated from Hayward High School in California in 1957. He worked as a concrete contractor for several years before starting "Custom Concrete" in Cabot. He was an accomplished businessman, well respected by many in his field. He is survived by his wife Sybil Griffin Taylor; one son, Bobby Taylor Jr. of Cabot; two daughters, Karin Taylor of Cabot and Dana Dixon (Byron) of Mesa, Arizona; one step-daughter, Kendra McAdams of Sherwood; two brothers, Melvin Taylor (Helen) of Manteca, California; Jerry Taylor (Pat) of Cabot; two sisters, Donna Healea (Tom) of Cabot and Connie Carmichael (Kenneth) of Carlisle; one sister-in-law, Leslie Taylor of Carlisle; fourteen grandchildren; Matt, Zac and Healea Taylor, Gaylon Grantham Jr., Blake Grantham (Nikki), Travis, Taylor, Garrett, and Zina Dixon, Ashley McDowell (J.D.), Alecia and Abby McAdams, Donovan and Madison Montgomery; as well as countless close friends. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Saturday, December 4, 2010 at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Tom Heffner officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Cabot.
